Dental veneers are a cosmetic solution that provides quick and great results. Treatment with veneers serves to mask anomalies in the colour, shape and/or size of the teeth.
In general, there are three types of dental veneers:
Composite dental veneers
Where composite layers are applied directly to the tooth to achieve the desired aesthetic. It is a conservative and fast because it is performed in a single session and not have to touch the original tooth. Requires periodic polished to preserve colour.
Porcelain veneers
It involves placing a ceramic layer on the tooth. This procedure is carried out in two sessions. First, the tooth is prepared and measures are taken so that the laboratory can make the personalized veneers. In a second session, the veneers are placed on the tooth, fusing it with a special adhesive.
Lumineers type
They are very thin high quality porcelain veneers manufactured in the United States. They offer the advantage of not having to touch up the tooth enamel.
This type of treatment is the most used by Hollywood actors to achieve perfect smiles.
